How we do it?

Creating a website with PurpleParrot is a straightforward and a quite enjoyable process. We take care of all the complicated "techy" stuff leaving to you some uncomplicated decisions.

It is :-)

What we will do:

1. Find and register a domain name for you. The Domain Name is what people type to get to your website (for example, purpleparrot.biz is the domain name for PurpleParrot). We can register a bunch of different domains for you, eg .COM, .BIZ, .CO.UK, .ORG, .INFO, .LTD.UK and others. You tell us the sort of name you would like, and we'll check what's available and come back with a bunch of names to choose from.

2. Set the site up on top of a so called Content Management System. This means that you will be able to edit text and add pictures to your website even in the middle of the night, you really do not need our help (but it is there if needed). You'll be happy you don't have to wait until morning and .. so will we :-)

3. Put your content on the website. If you give us some marketing materials - for example product brochures - we'll help you get it showing on the website. Of course it's very easy but we'll help you anyway because we're good guys :-)

4. Setup the email for you. Your email will have the form <yourname> @ <yourdomain> eg. filip@purpleparrot.biz. <Yourname> is the part you get to choose, whilst the doman name you already have chosen (see point 1)

5. Style your website. Based on what your business does we'll come up with couple of templates to serve as a starting point for you. Once you've chosen we'll customise it to fit you perfectly. For example if you're running a coffee shop we'll present you with a bunch of warm and relaxed templates, put your logo prominently on the top and some nice pictures of happy people sipping latte and eating a sandwich. The templates we use are professionally designed by professional graphic design companies, so you know you'r site will look just right.

We will ask YOU to do:

1. Get to us the initial texts, pictures etc. Of course you can put them on the website yourself but in the 1st instance we'll gladly take care of it for you. Remember that on a website you can change anything at anytime, so don't worry if something is not perfect. There is always the time to improve.

2. Pay three months fees in advance. This allows us to develop the site, and gives you time to get make sure you like what you see, and to set up the recurring payments

3. Regularly pay the low monthly fee for your website so we can keep up our quality work. The system works by you always paying 1 month in advance, which means we will be asking for the first recurring payment 2 months after we have received the three month advance. Invoices are automatically issued upon receipt of payment. Payment can be via credit card or bankers Standing Order.
